Lovely day dresses and formal wear, visiting dresses, ball gowns, traveling outfits, seaside apparel and other ensembles are accompanied by such accessories are hats, fans, and parasols. A selection of the latest styles in children's clothing is also included. Joanne Olian, former curator of the collection at the Museum of the City of New York, has newly translated the descriptive caption for each plate and provides an informative introduction. In addition, a glossary defines obscure terms. Edited by Florence Leniston. 52 pages.
